ClubSwan The added value of owning a Swan is to be part of “ClubSwan”, which provides the opportunity to owners from all over the world to be united by their love of sailing and to share the enjoyment and pride of their yacht. Having this in mind,“ClubSwan” main mission has been defined to offer every Member the chance to enjoy their Swan and share their experiences with other owners at a number of prestigious Nautor’s Swan events, regattas and cruising rendezvous staged in some of the most exclusive destinations around the globe. “ClubSwan” appreciates the respect for nature, the passion for sport and all those values, such as the love for beauty, the feeling of freedom and the enjoyment of challenges which sailing at sea emphasizes. “ClubSwan” is a non-profit organization of unlimited duration, whose members are all present, past and future Swan Yachts’ Owners. The Club House is located at the Segelsallskapet Yacht Club in Pietarsaari, Finland. Chairman of ClubSwan is Leonardo Ferragamo. Some of the Honorary Members of ClubSwan are HRH Juan Carlos de Borbone King of Spain, Pekka Koskenkyla, German Frers, Olin J. Stephens, Ron Holland, Pippa Blake. The highlight of the racing calendar for Swan owners is the biennial “Rolex Swan Cup”, held in Porto Cervo, Sardinia in association with the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, which traditionally embodies “The Spirit of Swan”, in its glamour and quality of sailing. Two other well known events are the “Swan European Regatta”, usually taking place in the waters of Cowes in association with the Royal Yacht Squadron; and the “Swan American Regatta” taking place in the waters of Newport Rhode Island, in association with the New York Yacht Club. 20 21
